The task was to organize the space for a family of four. In which they will live for many years. The customers wanted a secluded, comfortable urban retreat, luxurious yet discreet. Such a project is a serious investment, so it was necessary to pay particular attention to the choice of materials and functional zoning: everyone should be comfortable. After three redevelopment options, we found a fourth that suited everyone. And at the same time, we thought about materials that would reflect the idea.
It is important how materials work with each other, what kind of lighting they receive, how they act tactilely. The main secret of this project is a sense of peace, balance and tranquility.

It is important how materials work with each other, what kind of lighting they receive, how they act tactilely. The main secret of this project is a sense of peace, balance and tranquility.
The interior is built in such a way that each texture is visually tactile: wall decoration in porcelain stoneware, slate floor and, of course, wood. The tree is the first that expresses the communication of man with nature. On the ceiling, on the walls, in the form of furniture.
The main living space with living, dining and kitchen areas is lined up so that the gaze directed to the horizon is unobstructed. Almost all the furniture is of simple laconic forms, and the shelving, symbolically separating the living room from the dining room, is partially made of transparent glass.
The kitchen island became the communication center of the dining-living room. It serves as a link between those who eat and those who cook. A built-in hob and island hood combined with a bar table accentuate the overall dynamic of the design.
The first thing we see upon entering the house is the hall. We designed it as effectively as possible. After all, it is from the entrance to the house that we get the first emotions, the idea of the place where we got. The hall was made long, elongated relative to such high ceilings, glass and mirrored surfaces were added, due to which the space was optically increased. The most striking feature of the hall is a staircase set against a background of wood and concrete. It looks powerful and elegant at the same time, the steps are hanging in the air.
We have transformed the open space under the stairs into an “inner garden” where you can hide from the gray landscapes of the city. The main idea when choosing materials is to make this area sensual and lively.
Living plants, shades of green and objects that mimic plants and natural landscapes have made up for the nature deficit that separates us from digital lifestyles.
No piece of furniture has handles – bathroom cabinets, kitchen racks and kitchen island – all display smooth surfaces and perfect geometric shapes.
In the bathroom, perhaps the most noticeable role is played by textures and, again, textures.
Wood, stone and concrete textures return us to our origins and give the interior a natural look. They go well with each other. I make sure to incorporate these materials into my interiors.
